Nutrition/food: recipe rut busting & activity pairing
Part of me feels like I’m in a serious recipe rut. I’m a little sick of all our usual staples, yet lacking the motivation to try something new. And, even though I love me a grocery store, I’m tired of going to Whole Foods what feels like 20 times per week. As a New Yorker with no car, you get what you can carry (or you do a big delivery order that I’m resistant to for one reason or another. What can I say, I enjoy control and picking out my own produce). We eat at home most weeknights, and I probably cook 3-4 of those nights with leftovers on the other nights, and any recipe that will make for good leftovers is what I tend to gravitate towards.
