Short answer: I don’t think so.
And before I get into the why, I just want to be clear in that I do love my job, I’m good at it, and I absolutely love my clients, patients, and colleagues. I’m really enjoying where I’m at right now with my clinical work at a great hospital, seeing students at Juilliard and my private clients. I feel fulfilled and very lucky that I get to do this. So here we go - the top five reasons why I would probably not become a dietitian if I were to do it all over again, and what I would do instead.
