Wednesday was my birthday (our birthday, I have a twin sister), and it was fairly low-key. It has been a month, that at the end has left me with a good amount of gratitude. Jess Sims says something like, “practicing gratitude will single-handedly change your life” in her strength classes, and I think she is proof that it does do some good. And I know, every therapist in America would agree, too. It’s hard to do sometimes when you’re in it and feel stuck, or as a woman who is now 43, when hormones are being uncooperative. But right now, I’m feeling grateful that everyone is healthy, I have a sleeping Peanut on my lap, and for Botox (for my birthday, I gave myself the gift of Botox).
I saw
do something like this for her birthday and loved it, so thought I would try: 43 things I’ve learned in my 43 years.
